This document describes the conditions that apply to any vehicle rental with KECHanova, Marrakech.
1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions govern vehicle rental services provided by KECHanova (the "Lessor") in Marrakech, Morocco. Any booking made through our website, by phone or by WhatsApp implies full acceptance of these terms.
2. Booking
Every booking is confirmed subject to vehicle availability. A confirmation is sent to you by email or WhatsApp within 24 hours. Bookings may be modified or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.
3. Required documents
The main driver must present: a valid driving licence held for at least one year, and an identity document (passport or national ID). The minimum age requirement is 21.
4. Payment and deposit
The rental fee is payable at pickup, in cash or by bank card. A security deposit is blocked (not charged) on the driver's card at pickup and fully released when the vehicle is returned in its original condition.
5. Use of the vehicle
The vehicle is rented for personal use within Moroccan territory only. It is prohibited to: sub-rent the vehicle, take part in competitions, transport dangerous goods, or drive outside Morocco without prior written consent. Only drivers named in the contract may drive the vehicle.
6. Fuel
The vehicle is delivered with a stated fuel level and must be returned with the same level; otherwise a refuelling supplement will be charged.
7. Insurance and liability
Every rental includes comprehensive insurance. In case of an accident, the driver must complete an accident report and notify the Lessor immediately. Damage resulting from gross negligence, driving under the influence, or improper use of the vehicle remains the renter's responsibility.
8. Extensions
Any extension must be requested before the contract end date and is granted subject to availability. Failing to return on the agreed date may result in late fees.
9. Pickup and return
Pickup and return take place in Marrakech (city, hotel, riad or Marrakech-Menara airport) at the agreed times. A mechanical breakdown not attributable to the renter is immediately replaced or handled.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Marrakech.
